S\u00e3o canadianos mas tocam, dizem, \u201ccan\u00e7\u00f5es klezmer tradicionais atrav\u00e9s de uma sensibilidade moldada pelo \u2018indie rock\u2019 e o \u2018free jazz\u2019. \u201cVer Tanzt?\u201d (\u201cQuem est\u00e1 a dan\u00e7ar\u201d, em \u201cYiddish\u201d), o t\u00edtulo tema, \u00e9 uma violenta diatribe contra Israel mas a m\u00fasica dos Black Ox Orkestar acaba por n\u00e3o ser nem a recapitula\u00e7\u00e3o exaltada das sonoridades \u201cklezmer\u201d nem a f\u00faria \u201cpunk\u201d que a sua atitude interventiva poderia justificar, mas uma pesada arca cheia das habituais \u201cdrones\u201d da editora canadiana, vozes moribundas e folk rock com a b\u00fassola apontada \u00e0 tradi\u00e7\u00e3o hebraica. O ambiente geral \u00e9 de nostalgia e n\u00e3o de dan\u00e7a, como se os Black Ox Orkestar se deixassem afogar num mar de desesperan\u00e7a (\u201cvivemos na nossa l\u00edngua, como cegos caminhando \u00e0 beira do abismo, uma linguagem carregada de cat\u00e1strofes futuras\u201d, l\u00ea-se numa cita\u00e7\u00e3o do livrete). A instrumenta\u00e7\u00e3o, ex\u00f3tica q.b. (contrabaixo, clarinete baixo, bandolim, cymbalon, violino, \u00f3rg\u00e3o de foles\u2026) nem sempre \u00e9 bem aproveitada (o cymbalon e o contrabaixo constituem a excep\u00e7\u00e3o, em \u201cSkocne\u201d) mas o resultado final, apesar da imensa tristeza, cria situa\u00e7\u00f5es auditivas interessantes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>17.09.2004 Black Ox Orkestar Ver Tanzt?
