As liga\u00e7\u00f5es de Kramer aos m\u00fasicos de Canterbury j\u00e1 v\u00eam de tr\u00e1s. Kramer esteve ao lado de Daevid Allen nos New York Gong, extens\u00e3o nova-iorquina e new wave dos \u201cpot head pixies\u201d, nos anos 80, e nos \u00e1lbuns de parceria \u201cHit Men\u201d e \u201cWho\u2019s Afraid?\u201d. Gravou ainda com Hugh Hopper os \u00e1lbuns \u201cA Remark Hugh Made\u201d e \u201cHuge\u201d. \u201cThe Children\u2019s Crusade\u201d, com dedicat\u00f3ria ao cineasta Stanley Kubrick, \u00e9 rock a meio caminho entre a psicose punk e o psicadelismo, composto por descargasa vassaladoras de guitarra el\u00e9ctrica, baixo e bateria, o que n\u00e3o deixa de ser estranho (apesar de, anos antes, os New York Gong se terem convertido, embora de forma sat\u00edrica, \u00c0s caves fumacentas da \u201cdowntown\u201d\u2026) vindo de gente nascida e criada nos prados de jazz rock de Canterbury. Quanto a Daevid Allen, a sua voz de crooner gal\u00e1ctico abre caminho \u00e0 for\u00e7a por entre a espessura asfixiante da m\u00fasica, introduzindo as can\u00e7\u00f5es com o seu inconfund\u00edvel humor, imediatamente afogado numa f\u00faria decib\u00e9lica e na corrente de riffs.
